Class Description
The ability to communicate ideas is a life-long skill. Computer Aided Design (CAD) teaches students how to communicate ideas through technical drawings. The course begins with learning to draw floor plans and elevations for architectural drawings. Then the students learn to use MiniCAD to produce accurate drawings of everything from blocks and braces to a modern convenience store and parking lot. The course is hands-on and it has Multi-Media as a prerequisite.
