Life Outside of Unity: Outside of Unity, my wife and I enjoy all traveling, including going to see the children in California, golfing, and walking together. I try to stay healthy by running 3 miles, 4-5 times per week.
Why I Work at Unity: In 1970, I had the privilege to practice teach at Unity Christian. At that point, I realized what a great place this would be to work. In 1975, the Lord opened the door for me to come to Unity Christian as a full-time counselor/teacher. Since that time, my appreciation for Unity, the families, and the students has grown. All three of our children attended and graduated from Unity Christian. I truly love what I do here. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities. I never say "nothing surprises me." Life is full of surprises, because God is in control, not me. I have just completed 40 years of teaching, 35 at Unity. It's hard to believe I've taught and worked in education that long. God has been so good to me that the time feels much shorter than that.
