Class Description
This course introduces students to analog photography, the darkroom and digital photography. There will also be a few projects with the students choice of media. Prerequisites: Art 1, 2 and 4.
Class Expectations
Daily Work:
Time is given during class to work on projects. Some additional time outside of class may be required for the student to produce work consistent with his/her capabilities. Daily use of class time can affect the student's grade.
Projects/Assignments:
Each project will vary in the amount of time required to complete and value to the final grade.
Testing:
There will not be any written tests.
Grades:
Each project is graded based on these criteria:
* design solution to the assignment
* control of the medium
* creativity
* Christian approach to the subject
In each project, some criteria will be more critical than others.
Information:
Communication with parents is extremely helpful. I can be reached at 737-3460 in the evenings or at 737-4114 during the day at school. There will be times when I initiate communication, but I hope parents will feel free to contact me first.

-mounting and matting for display
Choice of Projects (9 weeks)
-each students must complete 3 projects in their choice of media
