Class Description

This course will take a detailed look at the anatomy and physiology of the human body; God's "crown" of creation.

This course is an elective and a science credit will be earned by taking this class. This class is offered to seniors and is recommended for students who have an interest in pursuing a career in the science/medical/health field.

Class Expectations

This course will have a college style teaching approach to it which will include the following:

1. Note taking
2. Out of class reading
3. Chapter worksheets for each unit
4. Memorization
5. Research project on Health related career

Course Goals and Objectives:

1. To instill a sense of awe and wonder for God's design of the human body, its uniqueness and its complexity.
2. To better understand the parts of the body and how they function.
3. To relate the various systems of the body in their diversity to each other as they function as a unified organism.

4.To provide a more in-depth background for related careers in medicine, physical therapy, nursing, chiropractic, lab tech, etc.

5. To better understand the analogy of the human body and the Body of Christ.

3. Notebook

4.Folder or binder

5.Writing utensil
